Spring Style: Blue Jacket and Green Pants for National Life Blue & Green Day

AH

Happy Friday! Today I am sharing a special outfit of the day, dedicated to National Donate Life Blue & Green Day. National Donate Life Blue & Green Day is a day in which everyone is encouraged to wear blue and green to support and promote awareness of organ, eye, and tissue transplants, and the extreme need for registered donors. Everyone is also encouraged to participate in campaigns, events, and fundraisers to support the cause.

Not only are blue and green the colors of this campaign, they are also great colors for the spring!

A few facts about becoming an organ donor:

  • Anyone can be a donor! Donors of all ages, races, and medical histories are welcomed.
  •  If you are sick or injured and have to go to the hospital, saving your life is the top priority, even if you’re an organ donor. Organ donation is only considered after you are deceased.
  • Personal information about an organ donor is only released to the recipient if the family of the donor requests or agrees to it.

I have sometimes thought about being an organ donor. It’s not a light hearted decision for me and l struggle with it. I know l won’t miss whatever it is they take from me, but l just feel like l want to take back whatever l brought in with me. I even hated it when they took out my wisdom teeth 😉 and that was only 2! Made them leave the other 2. Lovely bag you got there..

I love the whole look – especially the coat and necklace. So stylish! Thanks for raising awareness about National Donate Life Blue & Green Day. I know that I should be a donor, but truthfully, I have a lot of skepticism about it. But maybe my opinion will change with time.

What a great way to raise awareness for organ, eye and tissue donors, such an important cause. Beautiful look from head to toe and I especially love your necklace!
    Have a great week!

You look stunning! You will be getting some commission soon because I am hitting Nordstrom up for those shades (what a deal!) and some tees by BP. Becoming an organ donor is something I struggle with. It’s something I want to be completely okay with because I would appreciate the same if I were in need of a new organ.

Very pretty look for a very good cause! I’m a registered donor already and I often encourage others to do the same. Wasn’t aware there was a formal day and campaign so I learned something new! #BLM
