Amiclubwear Swimsuit Review

Happy Monday everyone! I just realized I haven’t blogged in like a month *sigh*! I’ve been so busy with summer events and traveling, that I really haven’t had much time to sit and get out any posts. I just got back from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic a week ago, and about a week before that, I was in Jamaica. Recaps of those trips to come! Before I head to Greece for Yacht Week tomorrow night, I wanted to make sure I got out this swimsuit review!

Amiclubwear sent me two beautiful swimsuits to review. All opinions in this post are obviously my own. So glad my swimsuits arrived right in time for me to wear them in beautiful Punta Cana!

I chose this first white and black one piece, because I literally haven’t worn a one piece since I was a child. I liked that this was a one piece, but still had the cut out feature because I just love my bikinis for some reason! I loved the contrast of the black trim on the white, and I looovveeddd the back detailing of this suit! If you’re looking for a swimsuit that has a little more coverage than a two piece, than I definitely would recommend this one! If you have a problem area up top that you may want to cover up, give this one a try.

As you can see, the bottom of the suit has pretty full coverage. I like moderate to full coverage on my bottom, so this suit definitely passed that test! I’m wearing a size small, and this fits pretty true to size.

There wasn’t a tag on this one to show the material, but I believe it was your standard polyester/nylon/spandex combination. The quality of the suit was pretty good, especially for its price point. It came with removable padding, which I took out, because you could see the padding through the suit. I have a small bust, so I’m always here for padding, but it looked just fine without it. Also, if you look really closely at my second picture, you can see where the lining stopped at the top, which I guess would be more or less obvious depending on your skin tone. My only change to the suit would be for the lining to go all the way down to the waist, so that you can’t see where it ends.

As far as care, I washed it on the handwash cycle in my washer machine, laid it flat to dry, and it was just fine.

Overall, this suit was a winner! I got so many compliments on it from a diverse group of women at the resort. It’s the perfect suit for a classy slay! 😉 I really wanted to get a floppy black straw hat to wear with it, but maybe next time! If you’d like the suit for yourself, purchase it here, and use code “Style45” at checkout to get 45% off! It’s also available in other colors on the site.

The next suit that I chose, was more flashy and showed more skin than the first one. This suit immediately stood out to me because of it’s bright, cobalt blue color, the criss cross cut out straps, and the bandage material. Also, this style of bikini is very on-trend right now, so I thought that it would be fun to try.

When you look at the suit from the side, it looks a little racy because of the cut out straps, but to put it in perspective, the top actually has fuller coverage than most bikini tops.

This swimsuit has really cool back detailing as well. Excuse the crazy tan lines, I’ve been in swimsuits a lot this summer, lol. As you can see, this bottom had a little less coverage than the first. I was actually worried that it would be cut slimmer in the back, but I was pleased with this amount. I would consider this moderate coverage, especially compared to how slim a lot of bikinis are cut these days. The suit overall fit true to size. I had to pull the straps up to a certain point on my waist, otherwise they would have looked a little big. If you go by their size chart, my waist is in between an XS and a S, so it made sense that they fit like that.

The material of the suit is polyester and spandex. Again, I think it’s a good quality for its price point. It didn’t come with padding, so I added my own from a different swimsuit, just to get my chest a little oomph.

As far as care, I washed this on the hand wash cycle as well, and laid it flat to dry. There were a few visible strings on the bikini top after I washed it, but overall it still looks great. I think actually manually hand washing the suit versus putting it in the washer machine on the hand wash cycle would have prevented the few strings that I noticed.

This suit is definitely my all time favorite swim suit! If you want a fly swimsuit that shows off your gym work, definitely purchase this one! It’s also available in other colors on the site. If you’d like the suit for yourself, purchase it here, and use code “Style45” at checkout to get 45% off!

Overall, I think Amiclubwear has an amazing swimsuit selection! Their selection is very expansive, so I guarantee there is a suit on the site for everyone, no matter your shape or size! I wanted to be sure to mention that their swimsuits will look great on anyone, because most of the models on the site are blonde or brunette pin up types. Since I was so pleased with Amiclubwear’s swimsuits, I ordered about five more suits from them for my trip to Greece. They are supposed to arrive tomorrow, and I’m cutting it close since I leave tomorrow night, but prayerfully you’ll see me posing in those suits on a yacht soon! 🙂

Amiclubwear also has a great selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories. I also was sent this maxi dress to review, which I will be wearing in Greece. Look out for that review soon. Be sure to also follow them on FacebookInstagram, Pinterest, and Twitter to see their apparel worn on other bloggers and celebrities, etc!

What do you guys think of my swimsuit choices, and will you be checking out Amiclubwear’s website? Let me know below!
