Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Friday, I went to my company holiday party, and then went to an Ugly Christmas Sweater party after that. Both were pretty fun.I love the whole concept of an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, however I struggled with finding one that was ugly, yet fitted. So I ended up rocking one from H&M, that was on the cuter side of ugly, lol.
Some of my favorite pieces to rock in cold weather are black jeans, fitted leather jackets, booties, and plaid scarfs. They are definitely classic cold weather essentials that you should add to your wardrobe if you don’t have them already.
All of last year, I was on the hunt for the perfect collarless, fitted, (faux) leather jacket. The less expensive ones looked cheap, and didn’t fit that great. There were a couple of cute ones that were a little pricier that I figured I may purchase if they went on sale. Then next fall rolled around, and I still didn’t have my jacket! So I decided to just dish out a few more dollars and ended up getting this gem from Topshop (link listed at the bottom of the post), which I love. And you would be surprised on how warm this jacket keeps you!
With this outfit, I wanted to go for a more casually cool look. Something you could just through on really quick for shopping, brunch, or a casual night out.
This scarf is my favorite! It added a quick pop of color to my black and white, and the classic plaid print makes me think of the holidays.
Thanks for reading! Are any of these items apart of your cold weather wardrobes? Let me know below!
