Transitioning Into Spring Style: Olive Green Midi + Black Booties

Happy Monday! It’s the second official day of spring, however the weather appears to still be transitioning! We received a little bit of a wintry mix featuring a very quick and light dusting of snow over the weekend, and it was definitely cold! I had to pull my winter coats backs out of the closet. March weather is always like this, so I wasn’t too surprised. I’m actually not quite done wearing all of my winter favorites, so I won’t complain.

I actually wore this outfit and took these pictures back in January for my sorority’s Founders’ Day. I went to a happy hour at Bus Boys and Poets with some of my sorors, so I decided to be gorgeous in green, since our colors are pink and green. 🙂 I’m also currently obsessed with olive green, making this dress a very obvious choice! It was around 50 degrees out, so I had on a winter coat as well. I was extending a blow out until I had time to wash my hair over the weekend, plus it was raining off and on that day, so I added this wide-brimmed fedora to complete my look. This hat is a favorite, and a lifesaver for days when you’re having an off hair day. I’m currently searching for a tan one like it.

You definitely make a great appearance to your sorority’s Founder’s day! You look absolutely amazing with this look as always, but this olive dress is a drool! I love the way you styled it and the life-saving hat gave such a cool twist on the look! Perfect!
Have a beautiful week my dear!

I love this look and the fedora hat adds to it perfectly. I want one but I think I might look weird lol I have been loving the green trend though and I got a similar dress in the same color that I need to put to use 🙂 #BLMGirl

So cute! I was at Busboys and Poets with my sorors this Founder’s Day too! I wasn’t wearing anything nearly this fashionable though… 🙂
