Brazil Travel Style: White and Black Striped Romper

Happy Monday!!! It’s been awhile, but I’m back with the outfit posts! As most of you know, I was in Brazil a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my BFF’s 30th birthday, so the next couple of posts will be a few of my ootds from the trip! After the ootd posts, I’ll post a recap of the trip with group pictures, that highlights some things to do if you’re ever planning a trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I wanted my Brazil style to be easy, yet put together, so rompers were definitely my go to! I’ve been a fan of the off the shoulder trend since high school, and Brazil screams off the shoulder to me, so I packed several off the shoulder items for the trip! I also packed several hats that came in handy for the days/times I didn’t feel like doing much to my hair. This straw one is definitely a fav of mine that I actually got in Rome last summer, and is the perfect size for thick, natural hair!

These pictures were taken on Corcovado mountain, which is where the statue Cristo Redenter (Christ the Redeemer) is located. The views were everything (excuse the shadows in the pictures)!

As a Christian, seeing Cristo Redentor was extremely important to me! It was an amazing experience, but nothing compares to knowing Him and having a personal relationship with Him!

Great outfit in a great location! Ha.. I was wondering if you were going to do the same pose 🙂 , it would have been a shame not to. Those gladiator sandals look nice, but were they comfy? I have such dry skin, it would have itched on me 🙁 .

Cute overall look I love the sandals. I had a pair of gladiator sandals a few years ago and I loved them. And they broke and I’ve never found another pair since that I loved as much!!

Cute outfit (as always)! I definitely loved visiting Christ the Redeemer too and seeing it up on high from different points around the city. And nothing beats knowing Him for yourself personally! I love Brazil and hope to get back there soon.

The romper is everything. I’ve decided that my summer style will consist of rompers, jumpsuits, and a couple of cute skirts here and there. Thanks for sharing this post.

I loved experiencing your travels through your photos in IG. This outfit looks like it was great for the weather. I love rompers and this one looks perfect on you. I need to step my travel fashion game up so that I can have awesome photos when I return from vacation.
