Happy Friday!!! Okay so it’s officially Fall, but I had one more Barcelona outfit (plus one more swimsuit style post) to get in! Plus, it’s 88 degrees here in DC, so I still feel like it’s weather appropriate, lol.
One of the main attractions that my girls and I wanted to make sure we got to see during our Spain trip was Montserrat, which is a mountain range and National Park that’s about an hour’s drive from Barcelona. We planned on making it somewhat of a day trip, and riding the train up to see it, but we were pressed for time (the surprise proposal was going down later that night), so we took two cabs up and back.
When we arrived, much to our dismay, it started to rain, and it was chilly!!! So we decided to eat at this buffet they had in what was basically their welcome center. By the time we finished eating and went back outside, it had gotten warmer, and the rain had stopped. Thank you God!
I kept my outfit simple going with a neutrals look, similar to this other look from the trip. I love these shorts, and will probably try to wear them again with layers as a transitional fall piece. If you haven’t already noticed, olive is one of THE colors for the fall. Go get you some olive pieces if you don’t have any already!
The mountains are even more beautiful in real life than in pictures. They were definitely worth the ride, weather issues, and rushed trip up and back to see them. I didn’t realize until reviewing the pictures after the fact that I totally matched the background!
