On the second day of our trip, we went on a walking tour of Old Havana that started out in our neighborhood, and ended in the town square of Old Havana (Plaza Vieja). The tour guide gave us a lot of history of Old Havana, and gave us a little bit of time to stop and take pictures along the way. I think I’m not really a guided tour type of girl, but it you’re one of those people who enjoy guided tours, I would certainly recommend him (I’ll update this post with his information when I get it). After the tour ended, we ate at Factoria Plaza Vieja. The food was just ok, and our waitress was worse than ok, lol.

After we left Plaza Vieja, we headed to Fusterlandia, which is the neighborhood that artist Jose Fuster is from. It’s covered with colorful mosaic tiles and messages. His house is the centerpiece, and was actually closed when we went, however we got an idea of the greatness of it from walking around and seeing the art all throughout the neighborhood.

Later that night we ate dinner at La Casa, which may have been my favorite restaurant from the whole trip, and finished the night at Sarao night club, which was my friends’ favorite night spot from the trip.

I was surprised to see denim skirts back in stores. Bought one for my baby girl and now I need to get one for myself!

My shoulders are one of my best assets so I like to show those off!

  2. Ada

This is the perfect look for Cuba or another paradise-like vacation. I am loving shades of orange this Summer. Cute top!

Welcome by tomorrow night and join my Thursday Moda linkup with your fabulous style. Thanks, Ada. =)

I love how you pair a long sleeve blouse with a denim skirt. It is a very cute way to make what would normally be a Fall color/style a summery look. Your sandals are also very cute! Love everything about this outfit and the location of your shoot!

I am loving the denim skirt. I just may have to pull a couple out of my closet. Now, let’s talk Cuba. I would love to take a trip there but like you, I’m not sure if I would like to do the guided tour. I think I would love to explore on my own. I’m looking forward to reading more about your trip.

Whenever i see my friends pictures I am reminder that Cuba has beautiful architecture. Likewise, your pictures drive this message home.

Such a cute outfit! Fits right in to the vibe of the island.

Thanks for sharing so many great places that you all visited. Hopefully on my next trip there (I went in March) I’ll have the opportunity to check a few of them out.
