Happy Monday!!! Today on the blog, I’m excited to go a bit dressier to showcase this gorgeous black and white midi dress courtesy of Maggy London. If you’re not familiar with them, you definitely want to visit their site (here) and get familiar! They have a great selection of high quality dresses for any occasion.

When Maggy London contacted me to be apart of their campaign to showcase their night out dresses, I knew I had the perfect event to wear one of their dresses to. My parents’ 50th anniversary party! I was immediately drawn to this black and white one shoulder number when I was browsing through their website.
The quality of the dress is great. This particular style ran true to size according to Maggy London’s size chart, which they have listed on their site, but it ran a little larger than other semi-formal/formal dresses. I generally wear a size 2 or 2P in dresses, but according to their size chart, my measurements were closest to a size 0, so that’s what I ordered. It fit pretty well, but I had to take the waist in some (which is normal for me).
For my accessories, I decided to go with a couple of gold and black statement pieces. These earrings are a new fave of mine, and this black and gold cuff is my favorite for when I decide to get extra jazzy. And of course you can never go wrong with a pair of simple, strappy heels. I would’ve worn a black and gold clutch with this look, but none of my current clutches made the cut, lol. I did still link a couple of cute ones under the outfit details of this post, though!
My parents live in North Carolina, and due to Hurricane Florence, they ended up having to cancel their party. Thankfully the hurricane didn’t really do too much damage to their area, and they are safe and sound. So even though I didn’t actually get to wear this anywhere, at least I got to wear it for you guys, and the gram, lol! 🙂

That is super cute. I definitely pinned it. I love a fitted dress that falls just below the knees, such a classic look.
I love this look on you! And I never would have thought to pair with those earrings. It works!
I love the cut and the color blocking. You look amazing!
I love the black and white look. This is really cute on it. Fits perfect and looks like it can go formal or informal easily.
This is a really cute dress. I would wear it to work with a blazer over it. It’s cute for a nice date night out on the town, too.
You can’t go wrong with a color block dress. It fits you perfect. The jewelry you picked brought everything together!
Your style never disappoints! I adore midi dresses they are so classy. Happy 50th Anniversary to your parents!
Love the dress. I’m always conflicted about midis because of my height 5feet, but I’d definitely rock this!
Very Pretty! Honestly, I have never tried a midi dress because I am only 5’4 so I’ve been unsure about them but I may have to try one
