Last week, my sister (www.yourstylistkaren.com) and I attended Macy’s Fall Essentials Fashion Show. And thanks to my fabulous sister, I got to sit front row to see all of the fall essentials in their splendor!
Amy E. Goodman, author of “Wear This, Toss That”, and who has also appeared on Access Hollywood, CNN, ET, Good Morning America, The Early Show, The View, The Rachael Ray Show, and The Today Show, was the MC. She did an excellent job! I got to meet her afterwards and she was so sweet!
The color block trend is still going strong this season. I love the cobalt blue and black contrast of this jacket, along with the cut. It is paired perfectly with this white and black shirt, statement necklace, and slim black pant.
This winter white dress coat is slightly reminiscent of the infamous Olivia Pope coat, don’t you think? Notice the color block black and white dress peeking out from underneath! You can’t see the back of the shoes, but they were color blocked too.
Trend alert!!! Lots of fall trends going on with this look right here! Embellished, cropped leather jacket, flannel shirt, concert tee, cropped camo skinny cargos, and embellished peep toe booties! Whew! All of these pieces are cute, but I probably wouldn’t wear all of them together at once. The model worked this outfit on out on the runway though.
Here I am posing in my fall essentials after the show! Stay tuned for part 2 of the Macy’s Fall Essentials Show recap. Too many pictures for one post!
